Audrey Howarth celebrated in style with lady members of Mold
Golf Club at a surprise get-together in the clubhouse.

Mold Golf Club’s Audrey Howarth, who has been a member of the Club for 40
years and is a Past Captain and Past President, has celebrated her 90th birthday in style.

Lady Captain Beth Davies and members of the ladies’ section surprised Audrey with a get-together in the clubhouse with prosecco and cake all round and lots of presents and cards for the birthday girl.

Audrey, who plays off a handicap of 32, is a regular in ladies’ competitions and scooped the April medal earlier this year. Club Manager Debbie Barton said: “Audrey is a wonderful member of our Club and an inspiration to us all. She plays regularly and is fantastically sprightly. We all wish her a very happy birthday and many happy returns.”
