At Mold Golf Club
With over 100 years of golfing excellence, this award-winning Mold Golf Club in Flintshire, North Wales, offers a thought-provoking course with unrivalled views of the Welsh countryside.
The 18 hole uplands parkland course lies in the shadow of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the Clwydian Range, in the old lead mining village of Pantymwyn. The mineral rich rocky subsurface allows a rich biodiversity of wild flowers, purple orchids, cowslips, harebell and lady’s bedstraw to thrive in the wispy rough.
From the higher part of the course, some 850 feet above sea level, a colourful panorama opens out. To the North views of the Halkyn Plateau pan round to views of the Cheshire Plain, the Wirral and beyond to the Peak District, returning to the westerly views of the Clwydian Range. On a clear day the view from the 10th fairway is second to none.
