2021 is a big year for Mold Golf Club greenkeepers

Two Mold Golf Club greenkeepers have notched up 70 years of service
between them. Peter Richards (left) and Paul Evans (right) have been keeping the course in good shape for 40 years and 30 years respectively with Peter having started his career at Mold at the age of 18.

Club Manager Debbie Barton said: “Peter and Paul are an invaluable part of
our four man greenkeeping team here at Mold. “We have a course to be proud of and we receive many comments about its all year round excellent condition. Peter and Paul, along with Head Greenkeeper Colin Jones and our newest addition, Jake Edwards, work hard to ensure the course is at its best and we as a Club really appreciate all they do. “Our congratulations go to Peter and Paul on achieving these significant milestones and thank you from everyone at the Club for your loyalty and dedication.”

Peter and Paul celebrated with club officials with a meal and cake in the
clubhouse.
